Tippmann A-5 Cyclone Feed Description:

The Cyclone Feed System comes installed on the Tippmann A-5. This Patented Technology increases the A-5s rate of fire beyond 15 balls per second. Due to systems like the Response Trigger System and the E-bolt Electric System, Tippmann Markers had the ability to fire faster than gravity could feed paintballs to the marker. The Cyclone feed system eliminates this problem by pre-chambering the paintballs inside the systems star shaped feed sprocket. The feed sprocket is then linked to the markers air system. When the marker is fired, the feed sprocket chambers the next ball. Because the sprocket is linked to the markers firing cycle, the faster you fire the faster the marker feeds. And, since the paintballs are pre-chambered, it virtually eliminates the possibility of chopping paintballs in the chamber at high rates of fire.
