The Tippmann 98 Custom is one of the most popular paintball guns ever made. The main feature is the ease of customizing the marker. In addition to all the great features of the Model 98, the 98 Custom offers the ability to accept drop-in kits for the Response Trigger, Electronic kit, Flatline Barrel System, Double Trigger kit, and Low Pressure kit. All of these kits can be installed with same tools that you use to disassemble the marker. The Tippmann 98 Custom is the most customizable marker you can buy.

The 98 Custom now comes with the new ACT. Anti Chop Technology from Tippmann. A.C.T is a patent pending design to help eliminate ball chopping and ensure consistent performance. Using a new technology that has the front and rear bolt working independently of each other, ACT virtually eliminates ball chopping and improves ball accuracy with less barrel cleaning. And unlike other anti chop systems, this system maintains ball velocity shot after shot and does not have to be re-cocked if the anti chop technology had to be engaged.
