Author: Jason I got this for my paintball gun. It is made of metal, is built pretty well, and overall feels very solid. Sure the flip up lens covers could be more durable, and the dot more crisp, but that's OK. Choice of color and brightness is very nice. My main complaint is this. The dot moves with relation to the position of your eyeballs. So for example you fix the gun in place, with the dot on target. As you move your head around, the dot will move around off target, even if the gun has not moved. This means you must be very consistent with how you look through the sight for it to remain accurate. Even then, it will always be somewhat off because you can never look through it EXACTLY the same every time. For paintball, this is plenty accurate. plinking at short ranges, ok. But if you need serious accuracy or consistency (real hunting vs. varmint shooting)... keep moving. If you need a good low cost site for a pellet gun, BB gun, paintball gun, or .22... You will probably be pleased.
